Christmas! Christmas! CHRISTMAS!!!

CHRISTMAS IS ALMOST HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited because this and Easter are my two absolute favorite holidays.

Because of something that happened thousands of years ago....................I had a Savior come rescue me and save me. Also the best part is He saved you too. Yes......YOU!!!! If you are reading this Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior SAVED YOU from your sins.

Christmas is when Jesus was born so we celebrate his birth, and Easter is when He died on the cross BUT resurrected on the third day.

How incredible is that????? " 'For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manager.' And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased.'" Luke 2:11-14 (ESV)

Now don't get me wrong I love presents and all that stuff but I also love giving presents. Operation Christmas Child is an amazing opportunity to give a gift to a child in another country who wouldn't have a Christmas without this organization.

That is my number one FAVORITE thing to be apart of around this time of year. I don't get anything in return but I get the blessing feeling of knowing that a child or even more than one child is getting a Christmas present AND hearing about Jesus Christ. I mean how awesome is that?????

My favorite Christmas movie is The Polar Express with Tom Hanks. Oh my gosh I watch it every Christmas multiple times because I just love it so much. It's such a sweet story and I love Tom Hanks anyway (I also love Forrest Gump----another Tom Hanks movie).

What is your favorite Christmas movie? What do you like to do around the holidays?

Have a Merry CHRISTmas,

God bless,

Sophomore Year Round 1

Well my first Sophomore semester is done and over........

Campus Outreach has been the biggest blessing ever! SO many people to lean on for support when I need it. They always lead me back to God and let me know when I need to straighten up.
Started going to a new church in Statesboro and it has been incredible. The pastor is so amazing and the music really helps me know that God is there.
Halloween was so much fun!!! I was Mary Poppins this year and if I do say so myself I think I did pretty well with the costume.

I could go on and on about everything this semester, but the main person I want to talk about..........is.............GOD!!!!!!!

God has been so incredible and has blessed me so much this semester. I wouldn't be where I am now if He wasn't in my life. Campus Outreach and Connection Church are just tools God uses to lead me back to Him. I have been tried this semester and it's been very hard, however, I've come out stronger because of it.

God has blessed me with an amazing family!! My little nephew is so amazing and just watching him grow and grow has been a true blessing. Nothing is better than a new miracle of life and know that God has big plans for him. He also has big plans for me.

I have been tested with my faith this semester and I pray that God has been glorified through it. Now it's nothing like the movie God Is Not Dead, thankfully, but I want people to see Christ through me and my writing.

Hope you all have a Merry Christmas,

God bless,

Fall Retreat 2015! A Different Approach

Hello fellow bloggers and readers,
As many of you know or have read on my blog from previous post; I am apart of Campus Outreach at Georgia Southern University. Campus Outreach is a campus ministry and it has changed my life........!!!!!! God used this ministry to bring me back to Him....to show me that I needed His love and His salvation and grace.
Fall Retreat this year was in good ole Savannah, Georgia. It was such an amazing experience for me especially fall retreat 2014 was when I became a Christian (read my blog post entitled "Fall Retreat 2014! A New Beginning") in the first place. I was so blessed to spend that weekend with close to 200 college students from Georgia Southern, Georgia College, Augusta University, University of South Carolina, and finally University of South Carolina in Aiken.
It was incredible and something I will look forward to till I graduate college basically haha. The worship music was amazing, the speaker was phenomenal, and the fellowship was so refreshing. Now the UGA vs Bama game could of gone WAY better than it did but let's not talk about that.
This is my awesome D-group that I am apart of in Campus Outreach. It's similar to a small group but it's just called different. I was so blessed to had spent that whole weekend with them by my side. We were learning together, growing together, worshiping together, and watching Georgia Bulldawgs lose together. I'm so blessed to have them in my life and to go to when I need someone to talk to.
The food was pretty good but was also kinda expensive. The Original Pancake House in Savannah was SOOOOOOOOOOOO good and sooooooooooo precious!!!! I had a blast eating there and I got a coconut waffle.
Overall it was an incredible experience. I am so thankful that Campus Outreach is in my life right now. Friends that will stick with me for the rest of my life no matter what. I am super blessed to have this awesome girl in my life, Jordi!!!!!

That's all for now,

God bless,
