Tis the Season for CHRISTmas!
Merry CHRISTmas!
Notice how I wrote that! The first part of that word is CHRIST! That's where everybody turns away! Why can't people just realize that natural fact? Have you noticed how nobody says "Merry Christmas" anymore? They now say "Seasons Greetings"!
WHAT???????? Really???????? Schools taking up Christmas cards! Nobody learning the TRUE meaning of the season! Well I'm here to tell you that this holiday is about when JESUS CHRIST came into our world to save us! Yes US! Because we are sinners our Heavenly Father sent HIS PERFECT SON to save us, and let us have a real true relationship with our Father! John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son. That whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." (NIV)
If you read the Gospel of Luke, you will read the "Christmas Story." The real actual Christmas story. Christmas has turned into which stores have the best deals, how many presents we get, who got what, etc! Every time I think about Christmas the first thing that comes to mind is Operation Christmas Child (shoe boxes)! Every year I get SO excited about it because I want to be able to make a difference in a child's life and let them know my loving Father. I LOVE hearing the Christmas story every year! It's my FAVORITE story in the Bible!!!!!!!!!!
NO MATTER WHAT.................NEVER LOSE THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Merry CHRISTmas everybody!
