Blessed, Growing, Learning, Loving

I started this blog about two years ago nothing major. Actually in all honesty I wasn't even a Christian when I started it. Well a few days ago while laying in my bed I decided to check out my blog to check things out. I then realized that there were post on it that were not appropriate for me now that I am a Christian. So now my blog is cleaned up and totally redesigned!

I didn't realize I would love writing so much till after my fifth grade year of school. I received my very first journal and I starting writing my feelings and all what was going on. Now I have no clue how many journals I have. I am currently a Senior in high school about to graduate, and go to college. I am so blessed that God gave me the gift of writing. I now want to be a Journalist when I grow up, I want to spread God's word with my writing!!

Everyday I am growing more and more in my walk with Christ. Finding out what He wants for my life, trust me I have lost and gained friends in the process. I have been a committed Christian for almost two years (March 15, 2014 will be two years), and I still am young in my relationship. I lost a friend this time last year because of his selfish decision to get behind the wheel when he should of stayed where he was. He was killed in a car accident that night. The hardest part is that he WAS NOT a Christian. It hurts my heart everyday that I wake up. Knowing I won't see him again and that he is separated from our Heavenly Father just crushes me. His one year anniversary is this Friday (February 7, 2014) since his death. What was so hard to accept is the fact that he wasn't a Christian and I had tried to reach out to him thinking I could change him. I felt like I had failed also I felt guilty for his death although I had NOTHING to do with it. I finally came to terms with that I can't change ANYBODY the Holy Spirit has to do it.

I am learning so much in my walk with Christ! I am a new creation! He made me for a purpose! "I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." ~Psalm 139;14. I thank Him everyday that I get to live, most if not all of us take that for granted EVERYDAY!!!!!!!! I know I do! God's love is like a circle. Never ending, Everlasting, Unconditional! He is Alpha Omega, beginning and the end Wonderful Counselor.

Follow what He has in store for your life, and with Him by your side you will not fail!

Have a bless day!

Respect........................R-E-S-P-E-C-T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Starting a new thing...................."Honest Monday."

Today's honest Monday is RESPECT!!!!!!!!!!! Respect for you, the people you love, and for your body. First let's talk about our bodies, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says ""Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body" (NIV). If you think you are going to get respect from guys if you let's just say "show yourself" then the enemy is lying to you. If you put on nasty full showing clothes then you will not get respect from guys or girls. Guys may look at you, but NOT respect you. Make sure you are modest in your clothing and your body then you will get the respect you deserve! Guys attract to girls who respect their bodies.

Now let's talk about respect for the people you love, since I am a female I will look at this towards boyfriends. You can relate this advice to whoever you want. If you want to have a serious relationship with a guy then make sure they are RESPECTFUL TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is a major thing for me especially. Whoever God has planned for me to have a relationship with and possibly marry, he MUST seek God to have my heart <3!! "A girl must be so lost in God that a guy has to seek Him to find her." My motto over this subject. The guy MUST be respectful to my parents first, then the rest of my family. My parents want the best for me and if the guy I care about isn't respectful towards them then he is NOT the man for me. Just be aware! Pray! Pray! Pray!

Finally respect for yourself, Respect yourself and follow what Christ has in store for you. Keep Him by your side and everything else will fall into place. He makes that promise in His word. Spend quality time with Him, He wants to spend time with you. He wants you to worship Him and spread His love throughout the world. He created you for a purpose. You are not an accident! Respect yourself and trust Christ!

Seriously everyone RESPECT is a MAJOR quality in any kind of relationship! Make sure to respect yourself, your body, and whoever you are in a relationship with respects your loved ones. A God- centered relationship is a STRONG relationship!
